Composition
A discussion of what makes a good image, basic composition elements and how to incorporate them into an image. We will introduce additional tools to make your creative vision of a scene, a reality. As a group, we will critique selected images each week.

Image Editing
An introduction into digital workflow using Lightroom. We will rename, edit, keyword, tag and rate images to easily identify the best and make locating files in the future easy. We will cover a basic workflow for processing your images and how to locally and globally edit your image.

Digital Printing

The day starts with a short introduction of the location (St Paul, Minneapolis, or Stillwater) with a map and key landmarks and intermediate meet up locations. After a break for lunch, students submit images for group discussion with fellow photographers.
