Photography Workshop - Photo 6-Field Session, Stillwater, MN

Five students joined me for a half day class in beautiful Stillwater, MN. After a brief introduction at the historic Water Street Inn we headed over to the old courthouse to start shooting. Built in 1870, the courthouse offered plenty of photo opportunities with he blooming crab apple trees, the brick architecture with the Veterans Memorial and St Michael church across the street. We grabbed some shots by the river and the bridge before breaking for lunch. After lunch, we kept inside the Water Street Inn, out of the rain, and shot in two historic suites and then explored the remainder of the building. A big thank you to the staff at the Water Street Inn, the faciliities and service were wonderful. Looking forward to returning.  Stay tuned for images from the students. Here are some of them hard at work.
